Today's Oz comic, political division

The "today" on this is quite a bit of a misnomer, since my local paper ran this last Saturday, and it was already a few days old then. As I had company over the weekend, I didn't immediately get a chance to put this up, and only remembered that it was there today. Still, better late than never. Jerry Holbert in the Boston Herald used an Oz metaphor for the aftermath of the Ames straw poll in Iowa. To go see it will be a little involved, so pay attention. First, go to Holbert's page at Cagle.com, the big Internet repository of political cartoons. Then, in the pull-down menu with all the dates in it, choose "8/15/11" and click on the "Get Image" button. There, wasn't that worth it?

I'd like to reiterate yet again that all political and social commentary cartoons presented on this blog are here solely for the Oz content, and may not reflect the views or beliefs of the guy who owns and runs this blog. (Not that I think that's going to be a problem with this cartoon...)
