My Man in Japan, Michael-sensei, found yesterday's edition of the Ripley's Believe It or Not comic and the Oz reference in it. (I think this may be a partial "not", as I believe they just used the same dye used in Jell-O, not the whole product. But I need to do some more digging before I say that definitively.)
