Winkie Convention Countdown: 1 Day to Go!

This is it! We're well on the way. We were in Oregon last night, and now we're in a very pleasant little motel room in northern California. (As always, I got excited when I saw my first palm tree. That's always my cue that I'm not in the Pacific Northwest any more, and getting closer and closer to Oz.) We have to step out for dinner soon, but otherwise we just get to relax tonight and rest up for tomorrow. A few more hours on the road, including trying to navigate the San Francisco Bay area, and we'll be there! We'll likely be pretty early, and just hang around and see who else shows up and chat awhile until we can check into our rooms — after which, we'll clean up a bit and step right back out and chat some more. (It's a very social group!) I'll do the best I can to keep you up to date, of course, but blogging won't be my primary goal, so it may be kind of quiet.
