Yup, the show is back for it's twenty-seventh (yes, you heard me right, twenty-seventh!) season. And it only took four days for the first Oz clue to show up. Yesterday, in the Double Jeopardy! round, in the category The Trees Were Angry That Day, My Friends (which, as you might expect, is one that doesn't come up terribly often), the $400 clue was:
Ruth Anne, the challenger at the right hand lectern, rang in first and correctly responded with, "What is The Wizard of Oz?" Sadly, there was no way she could have won the match, as defending champion Roger had already gained such a huge margin that there was little likelihood he could have lost.
