I found today's cartoon in Parade magazine. Sad to say, I can't find it online anywhere, either on Parade's website or the artist's site (Gary McCoy is having it revamped right now). So I'll just have to describe it, I guess. Imagine if you will a tree, with a large, particularly sturdy branch on it. Sitting on that branch are Dorothy, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Woodman. Underneath them, roaring and gnashing his teeth, is the Lion. And on the branch, the Scarecrow says to Dorothy and the Tin Woodman: "Once he asked for courage, we should have seen this coming." You know, I had never thought of that before...
