Today in Heart of the City, Heart presents her completed Oz story to Dean, who presents his finished work as part of their contest. (I am really, really glad we got to see Heart's in progress, and not Dean's!) One glitch, the Caldecott Medal is awarded for illustrations in a children's book. They may be thinking of the Newbery Medal, which is the one given for excellence in writing. Either way, however, I doubt either one is in the running.
