It's a long-held tradition among many blogs to celebrate October and Halloween with daily Halloween-themed posts throughout the month. I've never done it, but due to the lack of my Halloween shop last year (and the delay in getting it ready this year; son, I hope), I'm going to give it a shot. This will be weird and scattered, but could be a lot of fun. So I'm going to start with the thing that takes the most lead time: Patterns! Yes, you can buy costume patterns for all kinds of Oz costumes. Here's one for toddler-sized costumes from Simplicity, with links at the bottom to other ones. If you poke around, Butterick and McCall's also have some, but Simplicity seems to have the best selection.
