This Week's Oz Short Story

"Prince Fiddlecumdoo and the Giant" is the latest story from A New Wonderland, and as you might expect, Prince Fiddlecumdoo visits the giant Hartilaf in the next valley. It's another little slice-of-life story, where not much more happens than people living their lives. The twist here, however, is that the people are giants, and the prince's visit turns out to be a bit hazardous and injurious to his health. (This one reminded me of Gulliver in Brobdingnag, with a little more silliness.) But Hartilaf at least has a way to get back to Phunnyland, and his family and friends manage to fix him up.

Only three more stories to go, so at this rate, I can finish this reading by the end of the year, and get back to Oziana in 2017.
