My man in Japan, Michael-sensei, found another one for us. And to be honest, I'm surprised nobody's tried the same trick in the Oz books that they're pulling in today's Misc Soup.

LOL! That was a funny one!
I liked the one a few weeks ago that had the kids using the Tin Woodman's arms as a tin can telephone too, even though it doesn't actually work in the original Oz continuity.
I think the reason they've never used the Scarecrow's arm as a torch is because kids would get traumatized by it. In fact, I used to get a little bit freasked out by the fact that the Scarecrow got set on fire in the MGM film! But that's mostly because I had read the book first, and that didn't happen in the book!
