We have seen a lot of Heart's passion for Oz (even the book in one early installment) before.Today's Heart of the City merely adds to that. (I could so see a grown-up Heart eventually playing Elphaba in Wicked if the show lasts that long, and Mark Tatulli allows her to grow up.)
