Oz in Jeopardy!

I've been so busy with my regular, bill-paying "real" life of late that I haven't had a chance to talk about much more here than new Oz-themed comics — until now! The Jeopardy! clues have been piling up, and I hope to do some catching up in the next couple of weeks. But this first one goes waaaaay back to October 28. One of the categories was a spin on an old favorite, In Other Words, where they rewrite a common saying using totally different words, and you have to give the original. This time it was Oscar Songs In Other Words. All of the correct responses were the titles of winners of the Oscar for Best Song. Clear? Good! Because the very first clue, for $200, was this:

Michael, the challenger at the center lectern, rang in first and correctly responded, "What is 'Over the Rainbow'?" and got $200. Unfortunately, yet again blowing my theory that getting an Oz clue right leads to winning the game, Michael not only didn't win, he was the only player who didn't win. That's right, at the end there were two co-champions, and he wasn't one of them.
