No, that's not a typo. On Monday, The Wizard of Id celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. That's a pretty good stretch for any comic. Lots of other comics paid tribute, and I almost mentioned it myself on the day, but Id just isn't quite Ozzy enough that I felt I could justify it. But leave it to my man in Japan, Michael-sensei, to find The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee and their tribute to both Id and Oz. (Of course, Dorothy and Toto have shown up a few times, but they're not regular characters.)
