The Latest Not-Really-Oz Reading

I picked up a cheap copy of The Complete Judge Dredd in Oz as I'd heard a rumor that the Oz in the title was, at least in part, the one created by L. Frank Baum. Nope. That proves to be not true, as the Oz in this book is the 2000 A.D. version of Australia. To be sure, one of the contestants in the big surfing contest that the storyline centers around is called The Wizard of Oz, and there are one or two other passing tangential references, but this is not an Oz book. So that's one less book you need to read now.

On the other hand, it's classic Judge Dredd, so you should DEFINITELY read it. Just not, y'know, for Oz content.

Oh, don't worry, John, I read it (otherwise, how would I have known it wasn't the right Oz?), and even enjoyed it. But I had no plans to keep it once I did. So I put a notice up on my book trading page, and within the hour I got a request! So it's going to go to a good home tomorrow that will appreciate it.
