Oz in Jeopardy!

It has been a very busy spring and summer for me. One of the casualties has been my posts about Oz clues on Jeopardy! But with the show on its summer hiatus for a couple more weeks and my schedule getting a lot more manageable (before it gets crazy again), I figured now was the time to start playing catch-up. This one, however, will be a little soft on the Oz content. So, cast your mind back to May 2, when we had the category Actresses Playing Actresses in the Double Jeopardy! round. The first clue uncovered, for $400, was this one:

John, the returning champion, rang in first and correctly responded, "Who is Judy Garland?" They got away from that for a bit, but towards the end of the round came back to it, and found under the $1600 card: Amanda, the challenger in the middle, got to it first and correctly said, "Who is Michelle Williams?" (Williams, of course, is now an Oz actress, having played Glinda in Oz the Great and Powerful.) It was, sadly, too little too late for her, as John already had an insurmountable lead, and he went on to win the game and become a two-day champion.

I've already found two more Ozzy bits from later shows, and I have a couple dozen or so more to go through, so a few more should show up here soon.
