Yup, a new comics order came. Which means new Oz comics! The first one to bubble up to the top of the list was Dorothy of Oz Prequel #3. The Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Cowardly Lion have made their way to Candy Land, which needs to look out for the Lion's appetite! They meet Marshall Mallow, and find the Candy Man, but it turns out he can't make the kind of rainbow they're looking for. (That turns out to be a good thing for the Lion's appetite, however.) They then meet Wiser the Owl, who suggests they use a prism to make their own rainbow. But the Jester still has his eye on things, and makes things hot and sticky in Candy Land. It's been a long time since I've read the book, and of course I haven't seen the movie yet, so I'm not totally certain on everything that's going on here, but it seems to be coming together well, characters who will be important to the movie are being introduced, and I suspect it will all wind up with the rainbow being sent to Kansas in next month's final issue.
