The Wizard in Iceland!

The Reykjavik City Theater, in the capital of Iceland, is currently putting on their production of The Wizard of Oz. I just wanted to share the video:



All I want to add is that their interpretation of the Munchkins is adorable!

I am guessing that Iceland has not been saturated by the 1939 Hollywood movie that the musical is derived from, so they feel more free to add their own touches, like the Munchkins' costumes, and Toto's white fur. And witch looks more like someone out of "Wicked" than like a copy of Margaret Hamilton. The commercial clip, plus the 1969 clip that marbpl sent along just reminds me how durable and flexible Baum's story is.
