Winkies 2011: The Countdown Begins

Today marks the one-month countdown to this year's Winkie Convention, held as it has been since 1984 at the Asilomar Conference Center in Pacific Grove, California, on the central California coast. Yes, thirty days from today, I will be attending my thirty-first (!) consecutive Winkie Convention. Not at all bad! As always, I'm really looking forward to it. So to commemorate and celebrate, my current plan is to post something about my experiences at the Winkie Convention every day between now and then. I may not quite make it every day (and some days I may have to plan ahead and schedule it for later posting), but it should be fun doing so. Laura says she may post a few as well, although her remembrances are nowhere near as extensive as mine.
