Comments on comments

Thank goodness I updated my commenting software today to alert me when there's a new comment. Because I found out I had eight comments! "Huh," I said to myself, "how can that be? Laura just updated the software the other day, and I know about four of those, what are the other four?"

It turns out that some scammers posted completely unrelated-to-Oz comments on very old posts. The irony is, those posts went nowhere. I suspect the websites were taken down once Blogger found out about the spams. Needless to say, I was not at all happy about this! It took me a couple of hours, but I found the bad comments and deleted them. I also turned complete moderation on to prevent this from happening again. So if you want to leave a comment, go ahead. But it may take a little while for it to show up, because I have to read and approve it first now. But rest assured, if it is about Oz and related to the post, it will (probably) go up. Thanks for your understanding on this. And spammers/scammers? CUT IT OUT! GET A REAL JOB!! You are not wanted, appreciated, or liked. Go away!
