It's a double feature this morning, and all in Russian! The Russians seem to have had a lot of fun with Oz cartoons, starting with some Magic Land stuff back when Volkov was more well known there, and some based on Baum as well now that the Iron Curtain has rusted away. So, here's the first one, a musical sequence from the Russian adaptation of The Marvelous Land of Oz. If you know the book, you can probably figure out what's going on here.
I think I may have linked to this before, however, so as a bonus to make up for both that and how short it is, here's another Russian clip. It's highlights from a 1973 stop motion production of The Wizard of the Emerald City, the Russian version of The Wizard of Oz written by Aleksandr Volkov. It's fun, but long. If I can find more of these, I'll share them here.
